Do you have more questions? Want to Register for Swim Lessons?

Every child should know how to swim!

Each swim session is comprised of a minimum of 4 classes.

  • All levels: Each class has a ratio of 4:1 unless a private lesson which would be 1:1.
  • Each class runs for 30 minutes in water, with 10 minutes spent in or out of the water in transition/ land teaching time.
  • We recommend each child complete at least 12 classes before “graduating.” Whether those are consecutive months or broken up is up to you and your family.
  • Most kids once they have learned basic frontstroke, crawl, or freestyle (all the same thing depending on where you are from in the world!) your child will move on to backstroke, butterfly, and breastroke. There are 3 more strokes to learn and swim team is always an option for more practice time.
  • All students learn at their own pace while having fun appreciating the sport of swimming. If your child isn’t “getting it” don’t worry! They will!
  • This chart is a basic progression checklist. We will be happy to assess your child after speaking to you. Please use your best judgment when signing up your child so we can place them in the class with other student matching abilities.
