Ocean swimming brings its own levels of anxiety and fear. You have lots to contend with in an ocean environment. Currents, waves, boats, sea creatures, etc. It’s definitely different than swimming in a pool. If you can ocean swim you are able to adapt and learn to breath and calm down.
Swimming is so therapeutic. It’s good for your mental and physical well being. Find that happy place in your mind and just swim with that intention. When we focus on the beauty and that we are moving our bodies it becomes an improved experience. Don’t think about what could go wrong! Think about what could go right!
